Belmont Abbey鈥檚 Volunteer Club is the perfect opportunity for students to meet other students, serve around campus, and serve the local community.
The first 鈥淐rusader Consignment鈥 event, nearly two years ago, gave birth to the Abbey Volunteer Club we know now. Since then, the club has obtained about 200 members and is organized into three sectors: fundraisers, social gatherings, and volunteer events. All three of the sectors focus on uniting students to help those in need.
The club鈥檚 president, Anna Alayo, says that her favorite thing about the Abbey Volunteer is that it brings so many people together that otherwise may not have met. She says that the club is full of individuals seeking to branch out of their typical friend groups or teams with the united
purpose of helping the community.
The Volunteer Club is a great way for all students to be involved in campus life while giving back to the community. For upcoming events, follow the club鈥檚 Instagram page, , or sign up for the newsletter.
